I am trying to keep American crafting alive. If you hire a maker, whether it be wood, metal, 3D printing, your hard earned dollars go to hard working crafters. We all take raw material and through our labor, we add value through the making and you get an excellent product. When a project is complete and leaves a crafter’s workshop, there is this weird feeling of missing something that we put such care and craft into. However, we also know that when you receive your project, you will be able to understand the time and care put into it.
What kind of projects? Limited to existing shop size and tooling, I am open for proposals but here are some ideas: Blanket/Cedar Chest, Trunks, Display Cases, Jewelry Cabinets/Boxes, Small to Medium Living Room Tables, End Tables, Night Stands, Designer Pet Crates, Architectural Dog Houses, Cat Perches, Single Special Design Interior Door (Barn, Café, Parlor, Sliding, Hinged), Exterior Wood Hinged Screen Door, Garden Bench, etc. Throw me an idea an let’s see if we can make it happen.
Speaking of doors, if you have a strange opening to fill with a door, I can help with solutions and ideas. For example, separating a master bathroom from the master bedroom. Many times spouses have different schedules and want to cut off light and cut down on sound. Before you grab a “big box store” barn door, maybe we can do something special.
For now I can take “one off” type projects because of space restraints. For example, I could not take on a whole kitchen full of cabinets or a whole house of interior doors. Not only that, but my focus is best placed on that one or two “special” items.
